Membership on Advisory Boards

In addition to educational outreach/information dissemination activities and the formation of the GWSS workgroup, Division scientists and county-based advisors serve on program, research and technical advisory committees sponsored by governmental agencies, commodity groups and other industry organizations.  Membership on these advisory groups provides another opportunity for UC academics to extend science-based information on Pierce’s disease, the X. fastidiosa bacterium and the insect vectors that spread the disease.
